Palau National Scholarship Office has completed its regular outreach to all the local high schools in Palau. Ms. Marsha Suzuki was able to talk to the high school seniors about the various scholarship opportunities available for Palauan students as well as how to apply, what documents are required, and even shared tips on how to prepare for the coming school year 2020-2021. Ms. Suzuki also mentioned the various deadline dates for each of the scholarship programs and emphasized the need to prepare early rather than waiting until the last minute to apply. At the same time, Suzuki reminded the Palauan students that the “Republic of Palau needs you…so go out there and apply for as many scholarships as you can but make sure to come back home upon the completion of your degree. Palau helps pay for your education and in return, you must come back to Palau to help develop our Island Nation” “It’s a WIN WIN situation”, “Palau helps you and you help Palau!”
In addition to the regular PNSB programs, a special promotion for the 2020 MOFA & ICDF Taiwan scholarships was presented to inform the Palauan students that PNSB is currently accepting applications for these two scholarship programs until March 15, 2020.
